  • Generative Engine Optimization setup
  • Schema markup and structured content
  • Author and book positioning support

  • Related consulting, strategy, and support

Specific deliverables, timelines, fees, and support terms may vary by package and will be described on the website, in written communication, or in a separate proposal or agreement.

3. No guaranteed sales, rankings, or AI citations

Sonexial builds websites and content structures intended to improve clarity, credibility, discoverability, and machine readability. However, we do not guarantee book sales, search rankings, traffic volume, AI citations, AI recommendations, media coverage, reader reviews, platform approval, or specific business results.

Search engines, AI tools, retailers, social platforms, and third-party services use systems outside Sonexial’s control. Our work is designed to improve the quality and structure of your author platform, not to guarantee outcomes from third-party platforms.

4. Client responsibilities

To complete your project, you agree to provide accurate and timely information, materials, feedback, approvals, and access as needed.

This may include:

  • Author bio and book information
  • Book covers, images, blurbs, links, and metadata
  • Brand preferences or examples
  • Domain, hosting, email, retailer, or platform access when necessary
  • Feedback and approvals within reasonable timelines

Delays in providing materials, feedback, access, or approvals may delay project delivery.

5. Accuracy of client-provided materials

You are responsible for ensuring that any information, images, text, claims, book details, credentials, testimonials, reviews, logos, media mentions, or third-party materials you provide are accurate and that you have the right to use them.

Sonexial is not responsible for legal claims, copyright issues, trademark issues, privacy issues, or platform violations resulting from materials supplied by the client.

6. Preview-first services

Some Sonexial services may include a free preview before payment is required. A free preview is intended to help you evaluate the direction, style, and fit of the service.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, free previews remain the intellectual property of Sonexial until you approve the work and complete the required payment or subscription setup.

You may not copy, reuse, publish, reproduce, distribute, or hire another party to recreate unpaid Sonexial preview work without written permission.

7. Payments

Fees are due according to the selected package, invoice, subscription, proposal, or written agreement.

One-time project fees may require payment before work begins, at project milestones, or before launch. Monthly services are billed on a recurring basis unless canceled according to the applicable cancellation terms.

You are responsible for any third-party costs not expressly included in your Sonexial package, such as premium domains, email software, hosting upgrades, stock images, plugins, subscriptions, advertising spend, or third-party platform fees.

8. Cancellations

Monthly services may be canceled by contacting brian@sonexial.com.

Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically refund payments already made, except as described in the Refund Policy or agreed in writing.

For custom projects, cancellation terms may depend on the project stage, work already completed, expenses incurred, and any separate agreement between you and Sonexial.

9. Revisions and scope

Each project includes the deliverables and revision rounds described in the selected package, proposal, or written agreement.

Requests outside the original scope may require additional fees. Examples of out-of-scope work may include additional pages, major redesigns after approval, new brand direction, additional books or series architecture, copywriting beyond the agreed scope, integrations, platform migrations, or advanced automation.

10. Client approval

When you approve a design, draft, page, launch, or deliverable, Sonexial will treat that approval as authorization to proceed to the next step.

You are responsible for reviewing work carefully before approval, including spelling, links, book details, pricing, claims, biographies, and third-party references.

11. Ownership and intellectual property

After full payment, you own the final website content and final custom design assets created specifically for your project, except for any third-party materials, tools, frameworks, templates, software, plugins, stock assets, or pre-existing Sonexial materials.

Sonexial retains ownership of its pre-existing methods, systems, processes, templates, strategy frameworks, code snippets, internal tools, know-how, and reusable components.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Sonexial may display completed work in its portfolio, examples, case studies, marketing materials, or social posts. If confidentiality is required, please request it in writing before the project begins.

12. Third-party platforms

Sonexial may build or optimize websites that link to or integrate with third-party services such as Amazon, Bookshop, Shopify, Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Google, analytics providers, AI tools, domain registrars, hosting platforms, or payment processors.

Sonexial is not responsible for outages, policy changes, account issues, ranking changes, algorithm changes, fees, limitations, or decisions made by third-party platforms.

13. Confidentiality

Sonexial treats unpublished manuscripts, private project information, business plans, login details, and sensitive client information as confidential.

You agree not to share Sonexial’s private proposals, strategy documents, unpaid previews, internal processes, or project materials with third parties for copying, resale, or competitive use.

14. Website availability

Sonexial makes reasonable efforts to maintain its own website and deliver client work professionally. However, we do not guarantee that sonexial.com or any third-party service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sonexial will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost sales, lost data, lost rankings, lost traffic, lost business opportunities, or reputational harm.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sonexial’s total liability for any claim related to the website or services will not exceed the amount you paid to Sonexial for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

16. No professional legal, financial, or publishing advice

Sonexial provides website, strategy, positioning, and optimization services. We do not provide legal, tax, financial, accounting, literary agent, publishing, or investment advice. You are responsible for consulting appropriate professionals for those matters.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
